About Us

The Flight and The Pigeoneers were produced by my independent film production company in New York City, Alessandro Croseri Productions. I have been in the film industry for more than a decade as an actor, writer and filmmaker.

I was very fortunate and most privileged to have studied acting with Mira Rostova for over a period of ten years at her New York City apartment. I have also studied acting with Robert Lewis, founding member of the Group Theater and the Actors Studio, and Michael Howard, Michael Howard Studios, NYC. I have worked with prominent directors such as Woody Allen, Sidney Lumet and Abel Ferrara, and actors such as Christopher Walken and Willem Dafoe.

The Flight and The Pigeoneers were created as a tribute to the brave war efforts of homing pigeons and a reminder of the incredible contributions they have made to a free, democratic society. These films were developed to spread the message that these were extraordinary pigeons that performed extraordinary feats of heroism – warriors whose service to their country was recognized with the most prestigious medals of honor like the Purple Heart, Dicken Medal and Croix De Guerre (France).

I am honored to announce that The Pigeoneers and The Flight have been included in the museum collection of the American Air Museum, Imperial War Museum Duxford, United Kingdom. The Flight has also been included in the museum collections of the Yankee Air Museum, Michigan, U.S.A. and the Imperial War Museum London, United Kingdom.

The Flight is also in the collection of the U.S. Army Communications-Electronics Museum, Fort Monmouth, New Jersey, U.S.A. ; where the history of American war pigeons began and is kept alive today.

It is important that the legacy of their heroic war efforts be preserved and remembered.
